I did this drawing on clayboard with markers and gel pens in December while curled up in front of a toasty fire. Sasha sat dutifully in front of me, thinking I was going to give her a treat. I did eventually give her a treat. She really is a good model. I had a hard time choosing colors and ended up changing the colors quite a bit. It was interesting to find out how one prismacolor marker or a metallic marker would cover over another color pretty completely. The clayboard was a great surface for markers. This is a small piece 5″ x 7″. I still wasn’t happy with the final colors so I imported into a graphic program on the computer and changed colors a bit more. I also added the black border.
